The Xenon Ultra wireless scanner allows associates to focus on creating the best possible customer experience, reducing the time spent managing cables and increasing the space available for transactions.
A single scanner can support multiple power sources, with a choice of either a supercapacitor (battery-free) or standard lithium-ion battery, both of which support contactless charging.
Battery-free technology uses a supercapacitor instead of a battery and can be fully charged in less than 4 minutes via a USB port (less than 60 seconds with a powered USB port or external wall adapter). The Xenon Ultra 1962g-BF can scan at least 450 times without recharging, making it ideal for applications such as self-checkout terminals or as a supplementary scanner to a bi-optic scanner.
